The VIP Program helps merchants give special handling to their most valuable customers, known as VIPs, during the payment checkout process. These VIP customers often make transactions that exceed typical amounts.

The merchant runs its risk engines and identifies a user as a VIP. The merchant also determines the tier the user belongs to and can change the user's tier at any time.

Upload a VIP users file

After Trustly sets up the VIP Program, you'll need to upload a CSV file that lists of your VIP users and their respective VIP tiers.

1. In the Merchant Portal, click VIP Program, and then click Get Sample CSV to download a sample comma-separated values (CSV) file.
2. Make sure your CSV file contains the following three columns:
   • External ID
   • Name
   • VIP Tier
3. Click Choose File in the Upload section.
4. Click Upload to submit the file and update the VIP tiers in the system.
